Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from Atlas Origins on atlasdsf.com or use our free tools. Bespoke fragrance and manufacturing projects are covered by their own written quotation, which takes priority over these terms where the two differ.

1. Our products and safe use

• Atlas Origins sells perfumery raw materials: fragrance oils, essential oils, aromachemicals, bases and accords. They are ingredients for making products, not finished consumer products.
• They are not for drinking, eating or applying to skin undiluted. Keep them away from children, pets, heat and open flames.
• Safety data sheets are available on request. Please read them before use.
• If you sell products made with our materials, you are responsible for making sure they are safe and comply with the rules that apply to them, including IFRA standards and cosmetic or product regulations in your market.
• You must be 18 or older to buy from us.
• Natural materials vary slightly from batch to batch in colour and scent. This is normal and not a defect.

2. Orders and prices

• Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Your order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, a price was shown in error, or we suspect misuse. If we cancel after you have paid, we refund you in full.

3. Payment

• Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Where an order is placed on invoice, we prepare and ship it once full payment has been received.
• Online payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Delivery

• We currently deliver within Malaysia. Delivery times given are estimates and can vary with the courier and your location.
• Responsibility for the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address you gave us.
• Please check the parcel on arrival. If it is visibly damaged or leaking, take photos before opening it further.

5. Returns, damaged and wrong items

• Because our materials are chemicals that can be contaminated once opened, we cannot accept returns of opened items or change-of-mind returns.
• If an item arrives damaged, leaking or is not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will replace it or refund you, at our choice and our cost.
• Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 are not affected by these terms.

6. Free tools

• Our free tools, such as the IFRA calculator, give guidance only. Always check results against the IFRA certificate and safety data sheet for the specific material, and the current IFRA standards.
• Free use may be limited. To keep using a tool you may be asked to sign up, as explained in our privacy notice.
• We may change or withdraw a free tool at any time.

7. Liability

We are not responsible for loss caused by misuse of our materials, by not following their safety data sheets, or by finished products you make or sell. As far as the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy notice.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
